I purchased this yesterday, while putting it together I noticed screws were stripped. Also the legs are stripped. I am unsure if this stand will hold my tank due to this. They should have provided additional screws for this.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Stand assembled easily and fit perfectly for the 10 gallon tank. You were the ONLY pet store that had it in stock. Thanks

Easy to build and functional

I own this model and one of the larger ones built for 55/75 G tanks. The good thing about these is they are powder coated metal. So many other aquarium stands are particle board. Build is quick ~15 mintues by myself and they look decent. Is it flawless, no, but for this price point it is a solid winner. And face it. End of the day, the tank is the focus point, not the stand. Added benefit you can put a second (smaller) tank underneath, which I do for an ATO reservoir. The levelling feet and foam pads are a nice bonus.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Bad quality but good for now

I got goldfish as a gift at an under the sea theme party but I did not have a tank. A few days later I rushed to get a tank and stand for the safety of my fish. To assemble this, If you did something wrong you’ll need to start all over. And after hours of assembling, the last screw wouldn’t go inside all the way. However it is sturdy and only moves if I physically move it so I’m not so worried for it collapsing being that my tank is only 5.5 and I put glass underneath it. But if I were to do it again, I’ll spend $15 more dollars for less stress and a screw not popping out

No, I do not recommend this product.

Don’t buy for aquariums. The stand is not level.

Uneven Base, Dangerous for water filled tanks. The stand is not level and will cause stress cracks in tanks. Is fine for reptiles, but should not be used for any heavy tanks.

No, I do not recommend this product.

What is the threading of the feet? A couple of the holes are not tapped completely and I can't get the foot in and out, this makes it impossible to level properly.

  1. Sorry, sounds like a defect, I had no problems. I even h ad custom glass shelves cut to go under the tank sitting on the top for storage with recycled glass. I no longer have his tank stand,

Will this be okay for a 5.5 gallon tank

  1. Hi ebeebe, We do not recommend putting a 5G on this stand. Thanks,

One of the levelers that is needed to level stand was broken. Can I get a replacement piece? Really don't want to take it apart and return it just for that.

  1. Check the paperwork/instructions for the manufacturer and call or inquire with the sender. . I have had replacement parts for many things sent free of charge with a positive inquiry. Good Luck!

Will this stand safely hold a 10 gallon tank on top and a 5 gallon tank on bottom shelf?

  1. This is only meant to hold a tank on top. The bottom is sturdy but not enough for a 5 gallon.

Will this stand be able to hold an Aqueon LED 10 Gallon Aquarium Kit, 22.88" L X 12.75" W X 13.88" H

  1. Yes, but I later replaced with a stand that had a solid surface. I am much happier with replacement.

Will this hold my 10 Gallon Aqueon Tank?

  1. The exact dimensions of the stand are ... 20 1/2 (w) x 10 3/8 (d) and 29 1/2 (h) The exact dimensions of my 10 gallon tank that is on it is... 20 1/4 (w) x 10 1/4 (d) It's sits almost flushed on it, almost identical to the stand dimensions.

Could hard industrial casters/wheels be attached to the legs as long as they supported the weight?

  1. Since the feet screw into the metal it’s possible but the quality of the threaded holes is low so it may take some tweaking in order for the tank not to be uneven.

Will this stand hold two ten gallon aquariums safely?

  1. No. The top holds a 10 gal., but the bottom shelf is only 16.5 wide inside, so only a 5.5 gal. or smaller will fit.

What is the maximum weight this tank can handle?  I have a 15gal tall tank (10gal footprint but taller to accommodate 5 more gallons) and I am wondering if this stand can hold the extra weight.

  1. Hi DinnerPlate, The maximum weight compatible for this is 10 gallons. Thanks,
