My pregnant cat is crying. How can I comfort her without a vet?

I am sorry to hear that your pet seems to be in pain. In order to recommend any kind of treatment we must know what is wrong with your poor cat. In order to do that, it sounds like a vet visit is needed to properly examine your kitty and hopefully find out what the underlying problem is. If she has been crying for more than 30mins-1 hr, then it is highly recommended to take her in right away for treatment. She is likely crying due to hormonal imbalance. She may be in heat again. She may be pregnant, I don't know as I haven't examined her. I suggest you get to a vet and if she is not pregnant she needs to be spayed ASAP. She sounds like she is very sensitive to hormones and that is not going to stop without spaying. Cats do not show that they "miss" their babies or their other families by crying out loud. That is not normal.

It's hard to tell what could be going on without being able to examine her or knowing approximately when she is bred. If you aren't 100% sure she is pregnant, she could have a UTI or could have a pyometra. It is also possible she is in labor and is not sure what is going on. I would allow her to choose where to hang out and keep things calm. Hello, sorry to hear about Buttercup. She may be experiencing some post partum pain. This should improve in several days. Ensure Buttercup is getting adequate amount of food and water. You can offer her kitten food as well while she is nursing. She can eat as ofter as every 6 hours. If her meowing does not improve, if she does not want to eat or drink, she has tremors, or is weak and lethargic, haver her evaluated by your veterinarian immediately. I am not entirely sure what you may have heard but it was more likely to be gut sounds which are common due to the reduced amount of space in her belly. The kittens inside her are surrounded by fluid and cannot meow. If she is otherwise well I would not be concerned but you should have her checked if any weight loss, fever, discharge or vomiting occurs
