How much food should my Boxer puppy eat daily for healthy growth?

Could you post a picture of the bag of dog food? Or a link to the product? I can't find anything when I search "Petco brand puppy food". Or take a picture of the feeding guidelines on the bag. Each type of dog food will have slightly different feeding guidelines.

Every dog will be a little different based on their own personal metabolism. At 4 months old Diesel is still growing and should receive around 900-1100 calories a day. You will want to monitor his weight, and adjust his intake based on how he is growing, giving a little more if you can see his ribs, and a less if you can no longer easily feel his ribs with a light touch. I recommend the majority of his diet consists of the Royal Canin as that has the proper balance of vitamins and minerals for a growing dog and the human diet does not. The Royal Canin should have a place on the label for recommended feeding amounts for his age and weight. Kisses to Caster!

Luna is so cute! I recommend that you feed her a large breed puppy food. At this stage, she should have her total amount of food split into at least three meals a day. If you are using Royal canin the amount you need to give your puppy is written on the food label, if you are using a different food you cannot use this measuring cup as each brand has different recommended amounts of food but here again it is written on the food label of every food.

Hello, congratulations on your new puppy. Ideally, any commercial puppy food should be sufficient to maintain Jax's growth. Pet foods with better reputation include brands such as Royal Canin, Hills, and Eukanuba but this does not necessarily have to be the case for your puppy. If Jax is eating, drinking, and gaining weight adequately, then you should continue to feed pedigree puppy food until he is about a year old, then transition him to adult food. I recommend a high quality diet that is hypoallergenic which may help him such as Science Diet z/d or Royal canin ultamino. Both of these are of great quality and also are well-tolerated. If he is 56 pounds like the profile says, he should eat about 1,000 calories per day. That caloric information of the food should be in the back of the bag of the diet you choose.
