How much food should my puppy eat daily for optimal health and growth?

I would feeding him according to the instructions on the label (each food has a different daily allotment). Divide the daily recommendation into three equal portions to feed him three times a day (morning, noon, evening). Once he is six months old, he can be fed twice a day (morning and evening).

I usually use the rule of thumb of 1 cup per 20 pounds (~9kg). But with puppies, if they are really active and thin then they may need more. Some puppies are nibblers and don't want to eat that much and that is ok as long as he is eating, growing properly, and not too thin. I hope this helps!

According to the feeding directions on the back of the bag, it should be about 1/2 cup, so the amount you are feeding should be adequate. And, great you are feeding three times a day. It's actually time to consider transitioning Snowball to a puppy food as the RC Mini Starter is meant for pups less than 8 weeks old. It's good nutrition, but may be too much now. I hope this helps.

Please just used a balanced diet made for puppies. All those supplements are not good for a growing puppy. Those should only be fed as an adult and only if needed. If you feed a well-balanced, high quality diet like Royal Canin he should not need any supplements. Using those in a puppy is asking for trouble. I am assuming you mean Royal Canin for rc? Most manufacturers will have recommendations on the bag, but in general, a puppy like this should eat about 1 cup of kibble per day or approximately 1, 13 ounce can of wet food per day.
