You should have her seen by your veterinarian and hopefully he can give her medication against the pain. Pain is stress and can cause her to have her kittens early. I think it is also important to check whether she was hit by a car or whether the kittens were hurt in the process of the injury to her leg. Please take her to a veterinarian ASAP.

Hi. It is impossible unfortunately to say without exam and further diagnostics to know what her limping is from. The most common cause is an injury, usually of soft tissue such as muscle, tendons, or ligaments. Other potential causes of lameness include arthritis, fractures, abscesses, infection, foreign bodies in paws, ingrown nails, and many more. Milo shoukd get a full exam, and they most likely take some x-rays, possible bloodwork, and some pain medications. Good luck.

I would recommend that you have Xavier examined by a vet. Limping can be caused by a sprain, a fracture, joint issues, etc. Cats are good at hiding pain, so if you see a limp you can know it is is painful. Also, sleeping more and not purring are often signs of pain. The vet will do an exam and maybe x-rays to determine the most appropriate treatment.

I would give her space and limit the number of people hovering around her and checking on her. Cats can delay labor when stressed. Leave her in a quiet room with a litter box, food and water. Hi there. Luna is probably preparing for motherhood. All sorts of hormonal changes are going on in her body at this time, and can cause her to behave differently. Pregnancy can also be very uncomfortable, as you've said. The best thing you can do is pet her and reassure her you are still there and her friend. Congrats on your kittens!

This sounds like she may have an infected fight wound on or around her tail. The odor and pain are from the infection. Usually a broken tail would be painful but shouldn't smell. She may need sedation to clean the should and get the puss to drain out. Often cats also need oral antibiotics for the infection. If you are able to find a scab in the fur and remove it the infection may drain out and heal without treatment. If it starts draining clean the wound with hydrogen peroxide.
