Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 8.8 lbs

My cat is pregnant and all of a sudden limping on her right front paw. I looked and couldn't find any tears in her paw. I did ROM on her. She didn't mind at all. What could her limping be from? What can I do to help.

Hi. It is impossible unfortunately to say without exam and further diagnostics to know what her limping is from. The most common cause is an injury, usually of soft tissue such as muscle, tendons, or ligaments. Other potential causes of lameness include arthritis, fractures, abscesses, infection, foreign bodies in paws, ingrown nails, and many more. Milo shoukd get a full exam, and they most likely take some x-rays, possible bloodwork, and some pain medications. Good luck.
