Why is my puppy throwing up brown liquid after eating grass?

Feed her a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If she vomits the bland diet, refuses to eat the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away. I am sorry Dozer threw up last night. Grass can definitely upset his stomach. I would make sure he doesn't eat anymore of it. As long as he is energetic and otherwise normal I wouldn't worry too much about a one time throw up. If this continues then I would recommend bringing him to a veterinarian. Letti may have been vomiting for many reasons: she has eaten something that caused stomach upset, she has invested a foreign object, she acquired a virus of her intestinal tract, or she may be having a reaction. If her vomiting has stopped, she is drinking water, and willing to eat a small amount of food and can keep it down, I would continue to have you watch her closely for the next 24 hrs to see if she gets worse. If Letti continues to vomit, develops diarrhea, and:or is not interested in food, I would recommend to have her evaluated by your veterinarian as soon as possible.

There could be many things that are causing this in Loki. Less likely a foreign body especially since he bounces back right after vomiting. It can be viral related or just a gastrointestinal upset. We always are concerned about Parvo in an unvaccinated puppy since he is only 9 weeks but this is less likely if he is energetic and has no diarrhea. He can always have intestinal parasites especially in a young puppy. I would recommend a stool check, deworming, a bland diet and an antacid as long as everything else is ok. Sonetimes dogs get a bit of a tummy upset called gastritis. It can be caused by eating something rancid or an infection. Sometimes they simply have too much acid. Eating grass is a sign the tummy is sore. He will likely be a little unsettled but if he is not continually vomiting I would let him rest overnight then take him to the vet in the morning g if he is still poorly. This is definitely concerning - if your pup is not current on her booster vaccines, I would be very worried that she may have parvo. She may also have an upset stomach due to something she has eaten. If she is acting normal otherwise, you can try withholding food for the next 12 hours to help settle her stomach, then offer some plain boiled chicken and white rice. If she continues to vomit even though you aren't feeding her, or if she is acting lethargic or having any other symptoms, then I would recommend having her seen tonight by an emergency vet if possible as she may have a serious problem.

The can eat grass because their stomach hurts or vomit from eating grass just because they like grass. This can be an allergy since she is itching also or they may be unrelated. i would have vet check her since she is vomiting and limit the grass she eats. You can try plan chicken and rice as this is bland to make sure she digest it well.
