My puppy fell, has an eye bump, and is shivering. Is she okay now?

I recommend monitoring her for lethargy, reduced appetite or evidence of pain (yelping when jumping or running, being pet in certain areas, or overall reduced activity). I always advise that if an abnormal sign or behavior persists, worsens or other signs develop to always have your pet evaluated by your veterinarian right away. The fall may have caused some soft tissue/bone injuries or even internal injuries that are causing her problems. Also, she could be suffering from something unrelated to the fall. Your vet can examine her after gathering a history and then advise you on diagnostics/treatment. Possible tests include fecal/blood/urine tests and x-rays. Good luck

Things to be concern about are crying in pain, excessive tiredness, not wanting to eat, etc. I wish you the best!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. So if he is limping, he is in pain. Shaking is another sign of pain. The question is how much pain and why? Is it a minor, short-lived pain like when you stub your toe? A sprain? Or did he break a bone? The only way to know is to see an emergency vet and take some x-rays. That being said, in most of these cases, they shake it off and are walking normally within a few hours. If he seems OK to you, it is completely reasonable to let him sleep tonight and if he is not himself by morning, then see the vet first thing. If he is worrying you or any other signs arise, you always have the option of heading to the emergency vet tonight. Under no circumstances do I recommend any human pain medication - most are unsafe in dogs. However, if you want to do something for pain, ice can be a tremendous help. Applying an ice pack (wrapped in a thin kitchen towel or paper towel) to the leg for 5 minutes every 4-8 hours is great for inflammation and pain. Best wishes to you and Uno!

Poor Sophie. I would monitor her and if she continue to be sleepy I would have her checked by your vet. Try to offer her a bit of food or her favorite toy and observe her reaction, check if she has balance, if she has appetite, if her attention level is the same compared to other days. She's probably totally fine - a fall from a stroller is a pretty low height, and if she popped up and ran off right away, I expect that she's ok. If she starts doing any limping or becomes lethargic, you should go to the vet, but I doubt that will be the case. Best of luck! :)
