Dog got digestive drops in eye. Is it dangerous or will he be okay?

If the eye has been severely burned or injured it is best to seek veterinary care immediately. Your vet may need to further flush the eye, check it for additional injury, or apply medication to help it heal.

Dog's eye brown, can't see. Pharmacy treatment without a vet?

If you can't get to a veterinarian, the best you can do is to keep this eye comfortable and lubricated. See if your pharmacy can give you human eye lubricant drops or gel that is designed to keep the eye moist, and put this in the eye several times daily. Even a human antibiotic eye ointment would work well, if you can get that. Then all you can do is hope that the eye can heal itself with time.

My dog has dry eyes. Can oral supplements improve his condition?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Sky. Unfortunately, there are no oral supplements for dry eye. The only treatment is the topical application of eye drops to lubricate the surface of the eyes. If the eyes are not responding, then drops to decrease the body's immune response may be required. Do not allow him to paw at his eyes as he could cause damage. I hope this information helps!

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! You may use an eye flush which you may get over the counter at your local pharmacy. However, if no improvement is seen and this continues, Spade should be evaluated by your veterinarian as this can be due to a corneal ulcer, corneal laceration or dry eye (KCS). I would consider looking into CareCredit and apply for a line of credit you can use for veterinary care. You can go to their website and apply online. If that is not an option, I would consider using an eye medication called Optixcare, which you can find online quite easily. I would at least give this a try and see if it helps.
