How long after parvo can my puppy play with my other vaccinated puppy?
Hello and welcome to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Parvo-virus is a very resilient virus that lives in the environment for a long time. For this reason, keeping the puppies, and their environments, separate for at least 2 weeks after Roxy is completely healed is recommended, and then I would clean Roxy's environment aggressively with bleach water, and keep the puppies away from the 'infected' environment for a week while you are cleaning it. The other puppy SHOULD be OK because she is vaccinated, however until she has her third set I would keep them separate, because as the first vaccines are being given, and as the mother's immunity is wearing down, there will be times when the second puppy is at risk. Best of luck with your little ones and I am glad she is feeling better after her parvo-virus.
