How to potty train my dog fast to sleep in my bed without accidents?

3 months is still EXTREMELY young, and I would not consider a 3 month old puppy to be fully house-trained. Any new situation can always cause a regression in training until worked on, and some dogs may have accidents on occasion until they are old enough and their bladder is fully developed. I would give her a few minutes in between going outside, and letting her on the bed at night, to give her a chance to settle down and relax. It's very possible that the fun of being on the bed is just too exciting (or scary) and is causing her to have an accident as many puppies may experience excitement or submission urination, even if they've already gone potty outside. Once she is calm, you can put her on the bed, but try not to make a big deal out of it, to see if keeping her relaxed helps. If she does immediately pee, she may just need to stay off the bed for a while longer until she is a bit older. An enzymatic cleaner can also be used with any bedding when it is washed to help break down any urine particles that may be attracting her.

Four months is a very young age still and one where I wouldn't expect Fendi to be completely potty trained. That said, she should still be able to hold it about an hour or two, and if she can't, then scheduling a vet visit to make sure there isn't a health issue related first is a good idea. If she checks out healthy, sticking to a strict potty training routine is best. This means going out every 1-2 hours, after waking, eating, drinking, playing, etc to give her opportunities to go outside. If she is pottying in her kennel, it may be too big for her (it should be just big enough to comfortably lay down and turn around in, but not so big she can potty on one side and lay on the other.) Blocking off the house so she has limited access and limited chance to have an accident can also help. I recommend to kennel train the dogs and kennel them at night or have them shut in your room if they will not potty in your room. If they will potty in your room then kenneling them is the best thing to do as well. After about a month you can try to let them out again and see if they have stopped the behavior. It is really a family decision on when to actually test the waters with this one. I always say if they can hold it for 8 hours (about 7 months of age) then give it a try. I would leave the cage as an option for Korbyn though. The cage is supposed to feel like a safe place so still giving them access to it is a good idea. Have Bourbon examined by your vet to rule out medical causes such as UTI or congenital defects affecting his urinary tract. At his age, expect to Bourbon to still have "accidents". Reinforce crate training or choose one method of training and stick with it. If you choose the crate, it should only be big enough for Bourbon to stand, turn around and lay down. He can be crated for a maximum of 3 hours (age in months + 1 hour) before needing to go out. This includes overnights. Put him on a consistent schedule for going outside. He goes outside FIRST thing in the morning. Pick a spot outside and wait. No walks until he goes. Praise and reward him when he goes. Place him back in the crate or on a leash attached to your hip so you can watch for his cues to go. This may be circling, whining or sniffing around. Do not leave Bourbon unsupervised until he is house trained. He will need to go about 30 minutes after eating or playing. Take up the water 2 hours before bedtime and take her out right before bedtime. Be patient. Be consistent.

If he has a crate, place him in there on the very first night. You can add a bed or toys to comfort him. He may need you to comfort him several times throughout the night, but should adjust to his new surroundings. As far as potty training, puppies do not have full control over their bladder and bowel until at least 4 months of age. Prior to this age, you are trying to be consistent so he understands what he is to do when he is old enough. Take him to the same place outside every time. Give him a command such as "go potty" and give him a treat afterwards. Do not punish him for accidents. Just clean up the mess and move on. If you catch him going, tell him "no" and rush him outside. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! California is only 9 weeks old and house training isn't close to being accomplished yet. I wouldn't house train California to go in the house at all. Some dogs do n ot care if they eliminate in their bedding or not. I would ramp up house training: take her out as often as you can and when she goes outside verbally praise her, give her a yummy treat and play with her outside, teach her how to rings bell to go outside, block all rooms she can go in to to soil, clean all soiled areas with an enzymatic cleaner like Nature's Miracle, crate her when you are not home and at night, wake up 1-2 times over night to take her out, have someone come while you are at work to take her out and when you are home she should be leashed to an adult at all times. If she doesn't go when you take her out she should be put in her crate and you should try again 20 mins later. You should do this for 2-3 months with out an accident before you become less strict an allow her access to all rooms in your house unobserved. California is very young and to be 100% house broken at 9 weeks of age isn't normal for any puppy. I hope this helps and I wish you and California the best!
