Puppy and dog crate training encourages puppies to control themselves for longer periods of time and keeps them safe when unsupervised.
Training a dog takes time, understanding, patience and consistency. Understanding your training options and the dog training basics will help you--and your dog--be set up for success.
Choosing the best dog training treat all depends on your dog's preference and what environment you will be training in. Take a look at these recommendations from Petco positive dog training experts.
I have had amazing success using a product called Fresh Patch. You can order this online easily. This product has its own website and it is delivered to your address via autoship every couple of weeks. It is basically a patch of grass in a box with an absorbent pad underneath. The clients of mine that have used this have said the puppy automatically began using the patch and others had to physically pick up the puppy and put it on the patch several times before the puppy is trained. I would give this a try and see if this works for you. Taking your puppy out on a regular basis and praising will also help reinforce good bathroom habits. I hope this helps!

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. If the puppy pads do not work, I would recommend a product called Fresh Patch, which you can order online. I have found that potty training is much more successful with this product. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.
Potty training your dog or puppy can sometimes be a challenging task. However, with the steps below and a a lot of patience, you can have your dog potty trained quickly! Keeping a schedule, focusing on times when your dog needs to go, keeping the area clean, and stopping accidents before they happen will make the potty training process much easier. The steps are; Keep a routine- Most dogs will need to go out about 5-15 minutes after activities such as eating and drinking, playing, or waking up from a nap Know your dog's body: puppies, the rule of thumb is that they can hold their bladder at most 1 hour per month of age. This means a 2-month old puppy can hold his potty for a maximum of 2 hours. This is just a general rule and smaller dogs or those with bladder control issues may need even more frequent outings. Be sure to never let your dog go more than 8 hours without a potty break to prevent hurting their bladder! Keep in mind health issues Not punish your dog Cleanup after acc
Personally, I always recommend teaching a dog to potty outside if at all possible - I'm not a huge fan of pee pads, as this can lead to confusion for many dogs who may use the bathroom on other absorbent surfaces in the home such as rugs, towels, clothing on the floor, etc. Training the dog to go outside in the grass is much clearer and less confusing :)
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! A couple ideas: try something like FreshPatch which essentially sends you a patch of real grass in a cardboard container. Or, try crate training since most pups will not pee in their “house”. Here is a good link for crate training. http://www.aahneenah.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/crate-training-your-puppy.pdf As far as the aggression, you’ll need to get that under control as soon as possible. Any form of aggression toward humans should be met with a firm “no” and stopping all play/walking. Practice just walking by and touching his back end frequently so that it’s normal and no big deal. Neutering often helps with aggression so keep that in mind. Finally, some dog require more intensive care so talk with your vet about anti anxiety medication or professional training.
