How much to feed my 5-month-old Pit mix puppy and her adult size?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 29 days old | 30 lbs

I just got Molly from a coworker. She just about 5 months old and he says she’s 30 lbs. how much should I feed her? He says she’s part Pit part Black mouth cur. How big do you think she could get. I’m adding a pic of Wallace my other 2 year old 90 lb Pit for reference lol.

Molly is cute! Given the mix, she will likely be 50-60lbs when she is fully grown but some pitties can be small (40lbs or so). She should be eating a large breed puppy food until she is 1 year old. And the amount to feed will be listed on the back of the package. She should eat twice a day.
