How much Royal Canin Maxi should I feed my pitbull puppy daily?

As young dogs vary in their activity level I adjust the amount depending on Coso. If he is ravenous at each meal you are not feeding enough. I gradually increase the amount at each feeding so he is hungry at meals and he just finishes the food. If he's starving I feed three meals daily, as he ages and slows down his growth he may not be as hungry then I feed twice daily. I recommend twice daily feeding for life and adjust the amount of food needed to keep him happy and at a normal weight. The feeding amounts on the bag are just guidelines. I would feeding him according to the instructions on the label (each food has a different daily allotment). Divide the daily recommendation into three equal portions to feed him three times a day (morning, noon, evening). Once he is six months old, he can be fed twice a day (morning and evening).

Do not feed table scraps or human foods. Do not feed grain free foods as those can cause heart disease. Royal Canin, Hills Scoence Doet and Ians are all good brands to feed.

Start by looking at the bag of food. There is usually a feeding recommendation on the back based on current puppy weight or on expected adult weight. If you are using Royal canin the amount you need to give your puppy is written on the food label, if you are using a different food you cannot use this measuring cup as each brand has different recommended amounts of food but here again it is written on the food label of every food.

Rosco is a very handsome boy! Dog food is fine only for him, and feed him according to the instructions on his bag of food. That will tell you how much to feed him daily. He doesn't need added protein, and I would feed him twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the evening. From the pictures, he looks to be healthy. I hope this helps!

Hello. There is no hard set rules for this, but I would imagine you want to feed at least 1/4 - 1/2 cup of dry plus about a tablespoon of canned 3 times a day. Adjust as the puppies grow, but you really cannot overfeed a fast growing puppy. They will eat what they want, so if they leave any behind, cut back temporarily until their stomachs catch up.
