My Maltipoo puppy has accidents inside and won't eat treats.

Your puppy is still a bit young for lots of training, he is still a baby. I suggest you book in to a puppy training class once his vaccinations are done. As for treats, it is not always necessary to give food treats. Praising is a great treat and works just as well, if not better. I see that Murphy is still very young, only about 3-4 months old - this is much too young to expect him to be reliably housetrained. Most small-breed puppies like Shih Tzus are not reliable until at least 6-8 months of age or even older, so it's very normal and expected that he is still having accidents. You will need to be patient with him while he learns. Take Murphy outside frequently (every 20-30 minutes while he's awake and active) - go out with him so that you can watch, and reward with a treat as soon as he pees or poops. Inside, he needs to be supervised at all times to prevent accidents. If you aren't able to watch him, or when you're not home, he should be confined to a crate or a puppy-proofed room where accidents will be easy to clean up. If you see him start to have an accident, just hurry him outside to finish up there - then praise and reward as usual. It's actually not recommended to use any type of punishment for accidents in the house, as it usually doesn't help and just makes your puppy afraid of you. If he has an accident, clean it up without comment and focus on supervising him better next time.

That said, she should still be able to hold it about an hour or two, and if she can't, then scheduling a vet visit to make sure there isn't a health issue related first is a good idea. If she checks out healthy, sticking to a strict potty training routine is best. This means going out every 1-2 hours, after waking, eating, drinking, playing, etc to give her opportunities to go outside. If she is pottying in her kennel, it may be too big for her (it should be just big enough to comfortably lay down and turn around in, but not so big she can potty on one side and lay on the other.) It seems she might need a small kennel. There should only be enough room for her to stand up and turn a complete circle. Any other room then they tend to soil in one area and lay in another so they do not get dirty. Puppies tend to get distracted easily and may find playing and exploring outside more important than going to the bathroom. I would start taking her out on leash and staying close by you reward her with treats as she goes in the correct place.

It's find to feed Bowie small treats when training him, just make sure to take him outside within 15 minutes after finishing the training session to encourage him to potty. This will fit in with his potty training, as he should be taken out very soon after eating.

Oh wow what a cutie!!! Absolutely you can give her treats. I like the blue buffalo treats but really there are a lot of good ones at any pet store. You just want to use treats that are small and generally low in calories. Good luck!
