My male puppy's penis smells bad. Is it an infection? What to do?

This is likely a coincidence than anything. He could have eaten something at the park to make his breath smell back. It is unlikely from her prepuce/penis. If he produced some smegma which can sometimes smell bad. Even neutered dogs can produce this occasionally. I would try to brush his mouth or add a water additive to try to freshen his breath. A certain amount of discharge, especially in intact male dogs, may be normal. This discharge is known as smegma. Take him to your regular vet when they open for an examination and diagnosis. They will be able to provide appropriate pain relief and treatment.

The strong smell to his urine can be an indication of a UTI, and oftentimes there is blood in the urine but it is not visible to the naked eye, only under the microscope. I would have him seen by a vet first thing in the morning. The vet can do a physical exam, blood tests, and urinalysis to diagnose if he does have a UTI, and can prescribe medications for it as needed.

I would have this pup seen by a vet for the infected penis. There are certain medications puppies cannot have due to their young age and the effects the drugs would have on them, and only a vet is trained to know what medications are safe to give him to treat this infection. I would take him into the vet first thing Monday.

If it is the brown stuff I am seeing in the picture, it could be a small yeast infection (that is consistent with the smell you describe as well). Trim the hairs around the penis and then I would just try 25% white vinegar 75% water solution on a cloth and gently clean twice daily. If the discharge is white/creamy, yellow tinged, or even a bit crusty, that can be normal - especially for an in tact male dog. If there is problems urinating, blood in the urine or blood in the discharge, or very large amounts of the discharge, then I am more concerned. Unfortunately we are not legally allowed to recommend specific drugs/doses without a physical exam (also I have no idea what's available near you), so you'd have to call or visit the vet in that instance.
