This may cause some GI upset which may result in vomiting and/or diarrhea. If it is limited to a couple of bouts and she's back to normal in 12 hours or so, you don't need to worry. Just keep an eye on her for the next 12-24 hours, and if she develops vomiting or diarrhea that is severe or continuous, or if she becomes increasingly lethargic, seek emergency care.

It may be a coincidence that your dog started vomiting just now when you used acetone. There is a possibility that it may cause gastro-intestinal problems, especially if you did not ventilate the room (you should always ventilate when using acetone as it evaporates quickly and can be detrimental). Acetone exposure in dogs causes significant acetone levels in their blood, however the halflife is only around 4 hours, so by now he should not have any more acetone residue in his body. There could be other causes for the incessant vomiting, such as a parvo virus infection, ingestion of a foreign body, an intestinal blockage, eating something that did not agree with him, intestinal parasites, bacterial infection, viral infection, the weather, food change, stress, etc.  I strongly recommend that you take Butters to your vet today for an exam, medication to stop the vomiting and hopefully a diagnosis which then facilitates treatment.

Just like humans, there are many many causes of vomiting and some of the causes can be very serious. It could be related to the worming pill. If Alexa continue vomiting beyond 24 hours, she should be examined by the veterinarian. I'm so sorry to hear that Harley has vomited. If there is any artificial red coloring in his food, then that can cause a pink coloration to the liquid when he vomits. It is also possible that it is blood if he has irritated his esophagus a little when he vomited. It would be very unlikely that an insect spray from 5 days ago would cause vomiting, but I would certainly look at the ingredient list of the spray. You may be able to find more information about the chemicals in the spray at the ASPCA Poison Control website ( https://www.aspca.org/pet-care/animal-poison-control ). There are a huge number of reasons that a dog can vomit and sometimes we don't figure out the cause. What we normally recommend for a dog that has vomited once or twice and appears to feel fine is to offer small amounts of water at a time for a period of 6-8 hours, then start offering small amounts of food at a time. If the vomiting continues, Harley does not feel well, or he does not want to eat, then I would recommend taking him to your vet for some anti-nausea medication and an investigation about the cause of the vomiting. If he continues to vomit then a vet exam is needed. Other reasons to seek veterinary care include lethargy/weakness, pale gums, painful or swollen abdomen, or vomiting blood.
