My dog needs his next vaccine. Can he get it sooner than 4 weeks?

Booster vaccines for puppies should be given 3-4 weeks apart so his vaccine booster can be given anywhere from July 6 to the 13th. So, I think you are fine taking him 5 days from now. His next vaccines would typically be given 3-4 weeks later, so he's a little overdue. You should call your vet to schedule his next appointment right away. Hope this helps! Hi and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Amber is beautiful. I would say yes. I use a guideline that I have read regarding vaccination guidelines. As long as you don't go 6 weeks in between boosters you are ok. Beyond 6 weeks you are going into a time period where a good immune response could be less likely and then another booster would be advised. So as long as you are under 6 weeks between vaccines you should be fine. Good luck with Amber.

Normally, we want to make sure that the booster vaccine is given within 4-6 weeks of the original vaccine. 3-4 weeks is best. So as long as you get Chica in to the vet sometime in the next few days, you should be fine. If you go much longer than that, your veterinarian may recommend doing another booster in 3-4 weeks to make sure that she develops an appropriate immune response.
