Why is my dog's testicle enlarged and swelling? Tumor or infection?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | 7 years and 8 months old | 110 lbs

One testicle of my dog is bigger.as i have given few enjections and then comes to normal size but after few months it again increase.please tell me is this testicle tumor or any other kind of enfection

Unfortunately it's impossible to say without being able to examine Bruno in person. A testicular tumor could swell and cause an increase in size that could resolves with an antibiotic or steroid injection. Infections like Brucella or other bacteria could cause testicular swelling. I would recommend having a veterinarian examine Bruno to determine what might be the cause.

    Hello, sorry to hear about Bruno. It sounds like he could either have a tumor or an infection in that area. Inflammation of the testicles, sperm cord, or even parts of the penis can be causes by multiple infectious bacteria and a tumors. Bruno should be evaluated by a veterinarian to have him adequately treated wither with antibiotics or potentially chemotherapy.

    Your veterinarian may determine that his may need surgery to manage any infected or dead tissue in the area. Have Bruno evaluated immediately to make sure he gets treated soon.

Poor Oscar! His scrotum does look quite swollen and sore. Yes, unfortunately this could definitely be caused by testicular cancer, as this is a fairly common problem in older intact male dogs. He could also have an infection of the scrotum or testicles causing this swelling. I would recommend taking him to the vet to have this checked as soon as you are able to. He/she can take a biopsy if needed to help determine exactly what's going on, and may recommend surgical removal if cancer is suspected.

This could have a few causes - given that Carson is such an important dog to your wife, I would recommend taking him to the ER vet. It could be an infection, or testicular torsion. The swelling may be an abscess or a lymph node. A physical exam, and possibly an ultrasound or xray may reveal more information. There are some fungal infections more likely in the South - so specific blood tests may need to be ordered.

This can be from an injury, infection or cancer. I expect this is painful also so please take Breezer in for an exam. They can feel the testicle, check him over to see if there are other problems then decide a course of treatment. With an infection or injury medication may heal this but if it's a tumor then having Breezer neutered may be recommended.
