My dog is sneezing and breathing strangely. Is something in her nose?

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | spayed | 1 year and 7 months old | 61 lbs

Help! I think my dog has something stuck in her nose, she sneezes and breathes in fits, she keeps licking her nose, I couldn't see anything when I looked in it but there is definitely something wrong, what do I do? Any discharge from the nose has been clear but she has had loose stool. She has also gotten her dog flu vaccine. Please help me and my sweet girl!

She could have a grass seed stuck in her nose, or it may have been stuck and moved on but caused irritation. The nose is biggeer than you think so often the endoscope is needed to have a good look and temive anything stuck. I would make her a appointment at the vet as it will likely come to that. If discharge is clear it couldnt have been stuck long as usually foreign mayerial causes an infection.
If you want to try something first yku could get a syringe of saline (boil kettle, let cool add a little salt) and gently flush her nose. Do it slowly so that she does not choke on the water, she will swallow it. She may not tolerate this and if not do not persist as you could hurt her. If she lets you this may dislodge what is stuck or give the cavity a good rinse.
If this doesnt resolve the issue it is time for the vet.

Since he seems to be feeling okay otherwise I don't think he needs anything special done before he gets in to see the vet. My dog sneezes constantly with a whistling nose, vet found nothing.

If you haven't already tried it I would recommend a trial of antibiotics and antihistamines to rule out allergies and infection in the nose. If you have already done this then it may be time to refer to an internal medicine specialist since your vet has already done a thorough work up and could not determine the cause of the problem. The specialist could do a CT scan of the head/nose or a scope of the nose (where they look up the nose with a special camera) to see what exactly is going on.

My puppy got grass in his nose and is sneezing. Should I see a vet?

I suspect there is still some grass in there. The grass can get stuck farther up in the nasal passages and cause irritation/infections so it's best to have a veterinarian check him out to and get all of the grass out. It's not an emergency, but good to have an appointment within the next day. We can usually get it out fairly easily and quickly. I hope that helps and Ace gets better soon.

Poor Daisy! She is an older girl, and unfortunately this sneezing with blood in her snot could be due to a malignant growth (cancer) in her nasal cavity. It could also be due to a foreign body, fungal infection, or respiratory infection. Because this has been ongoing for a while, it's best that Daisy is seen by a vet either today or tomorrow. The vet can do a physical exam, blood tests, urinalysis, x-rays, and may look up her nasal cavity with an endoscope to diagnose what is causing her symptoms. Once a cause is found, the vet can discuss treatment options with you.

My dog is sneezing uncontrollably and hitting his head. What's wrong?

Excessive sneezing like this could be a sign of foreign material in the nasal cavity (sometimes a piece of fluff or plant material can get stuck), or potentially a nasal polyp, tumor or infection. If this extreme sneezing continues I'd recommend having your vet examine Pilsner - they might recommend sedation for a nasal flush and exam.
