Thanks for visiting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. It’s good to hear that your pup is doing well after contracting such a deadly virus. He is one of the lucky ones. To answer your question, the virus can shed in a pets poop for 10-14 days after being cured; therefore I would recommend waiting 15 days before allowing him to be around other pets. Even then I would probably only have him around pets that you know are vaccinated. It wouldn’t hurt to wait a full 3 weeks before having him go to dog parks and walking trails. Best wishes with your puppy Prince and again it’s wonderful to hear a puppy success story from Parvovirus infection. Best wishes and take care.
