My dog won't eat, drinks tons of water, and has a persistent stuffy nose.

It sounds like Lucky is sick. Losing teeth indicates serious dental disease and this can lead to several other disease processes. Dental disease is often painful and could also be a reason he is not eating well in general although not eating is also a sign of many disease conditions. Additionally, drinking lots of water is concerning for something like kidney disease, diabetes, endocrine disease or an infection. Urinating in the house can also be related to kidney disease, a bladder infection, diabetes or Cushing's Disease. Lucky needs to see his veterinarian very soon (ideally within the next few days) and the doctor will likely need to run bloodwork and a urinalysis to check for signs of disease or infection. The doctor can also discuss a dental cleaning and extractions of diseased teeth. It's always better to be safe than sorry. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions!

I am sorry to hear that Ace is not himself. Increased Licking and salvation can be signs of nausea. It sounds possible that Ace be have a gastrointestinal infection. I would advise the following; Bland diet of boiled chicken breast and white rice for three days. If diarrhoea or vomiting begin, Ace seems lethargic or in pain, he does not start to improve over tbhe next few days, take him to the veterinarian immediately. This is usually treated with antibiotics. I recommend that you have your pup evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. This would be unlikely to be due to the bones he ingested those his diarrhea most likely is. Since he is otherwise doing well, you can continue to monitor him. If at some point his breathing worsens or he starts showing signs consistent with a gastrointestinal obstruction, such as vomiting, inappetence or abdominal pain, have him evaluated. Also, if his diarrhea does not improve in a day or so, have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. He is adorable! Good luck and have a good night!

It sounds as if your dog is indeed ill. It is not normal for her to have a stuffy nose and eye discharge, nor is it normal for her to be lethargic and not eating enough. Excesssive drinking is also a concern. She could be having a seripous infection such as distemper, or kidney failure or endocrine disease. She urgently needs to be seen by a veterinarian today.

HI, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Cherry! It sounds like she has an upper respiratory infection. The blood may be from inflammation in her sinuses. Other causes for a congested, bloody nose are: foreign body, fungal infections, tumors or clotting disorders. Cheery may not be eating because she can't smell the food well. I recommend taking her to the Vet again. They may want to run blood work to check her white blood cell count and platelets. They may prescribe an antibiotic and an antihistamine. Good luck!
