My dog licked my hand after peeling garlic. Will he get sick?

It is likely that she will be ok as there is likely not enough garlic in the amount she licked to cause serious life threatening side effects. You may see vomiting or diarrhea, but this should resolve after 24-48 hours. Hello. He will be just fine. Poor Zeus, his sense of smell is so much better than ours that one good whiff was enough to just about knock him off his feet. But he will be fine. If she only licked it and didn't eat any I wouldn't be too concerned. Signs to watch out for that she ate some and is now ill include vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, blood in stool or vomit, or painful abdomen. If you do see those symptoms, a vet visit is best.

I would take Zeus into a vet immediately. Garlic is toxic to dogs, and because the garlic was a powder, it would be even more concentrated and take less of it to cause toxic symptoms. Toxic symptoms can include vomiting, which you are seeing, and garlic toxicity leads to anemia. Please take Zeus into an ER vet or find a vet on call to see him now for treatment.

Oh no, that was naughty of Zeus to lick up the carpet cleaner! Given that it was diluted by water and he only had a small lick, he should be fine. Because it causes hydrogen peroxide it can cause some GI upset in the form of vomiting, and I would monitor him for now.
