My dog sniffed callus remover on my feet. Will he be okay now?

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | unneutered | 1 year old | 10 lbs

Hello, I was applying some callus remover to my heels when Zeus came out of no where and sniffed my feet.. he then began snorting and before he could lick his lips immediately rinsed his nose off. I don’t think He got any of the solution on his nose. I just freak out that he might’ve. So I rinsed and dried him off. He seems fine. No vomiting, eating and drinking normally. Nose looks normal. The solution does smell kinda strong and I thought he was upstairs. Will he be okay?

Hello. He will be just fine. Poor Zeus, his sense of smell is so much better than ours that one good whiff was enough to just about knock him off his feet. But he will be fine. Even if he managed to lick a tiny amount, I would not be worried one bit. He will definitely be okay. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

My puppy licked carpet cleaner. Is it toxic? What should I do?

Oh no, that was naughty of Zeus to lick up the carpet cleaner! Given that it was diluted by water and he only had a small lick, he should be fine. Because it causes hydrogen peroxide it can cause some GI upset in the form of vomiting, and I would monitor him for now. If you do see vomiting, anorexia, or lethargy, have Zeus seen by a vet immediately for a health check.

My dog has fragrant paw balm. How to remove it and is it toxic?

Hello, its unlikely that the paw fragrance was absorbed into his system. If it was, you should monitor for any signs of illness which may include vomiting, diarrhea, a decreased appetite, lethargy, disorientation, or seizure like activity. It is likely sufficient to since his paws thoroughly or give him a foot bath to remove any left over topical fragrance. Otherwise, you can continue to apply the new product. My dog mouthed non-toxic thinking putty. Is he going to be okay?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Zeus. If the label says non-toxix and it was not a magnetic formula of Thinking Putty, then hopefully he will not suffer any effects.
