My dog most likely has an eye infection, but I can't get him into the vet for a couple days. He is having green/yellow discharge coming from one of his eyes. Should I be cleaning it? Or should I leave it alone until I can get him into see his vet?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Pepper. I do recommend that she sees her veterinarian. The eye discharge appears to be yellow green in color. This is commonly seen with an eye infection. Of course, there can be other causes of eye discharge. The veterinarian will examine her and possibly perform eye tests in order to reach a diagnosis. Then an eye drop or ointment can be prescribed. I hope this information helps!
