My dog is gagging, warm, has green eye goobers, and won't drink.

This sounds like she has a mild cold or upper respiratory infection. Generally these are viral colds and will run their course over a week or so. Just like with us no antibiotics are needed unless she develops a secondary bacterial infection. If the discharge becomes green and her condition worsens then please bring her right in for treatment. Even a neighboring dog could spread the infection. Similar to colds in humans, you do not need to know who got you sick. Loss of appetite can be observed with many conditions such as gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, kidney disease, pancreatitis, among many other possibilities. This sounds like kennel cough. If she’s been around other dogs a few days ago she may have gotten this from them. Usually if you keep her quiet and she continues eating and drinking she should get over this without treatment in a week or so. If the coughing worsens or she stops eating or becomes lethargic then bring her in for an exam and treatment. They will probably give her antibiotics and perhaps something to stop the coughing. She may have a respiratory tract infection given the eye discharge you have described. She may need eye ointment and an oral antibiotic. I hope this information helps!

They may need to prescribe different medications or do testing, like radiographs. Because he is young he has a weaker immune system so he may need extra help getting better.
