Seven times a day is excessive. Ofloxacin is typically administered every 6 hours (4 times daily). If there has been no improvement in almost 3 weeks, a recheck with a veterinarian or a veterinary ophthalmologist is strongly recommended. You can use apo-diclofenac first then wait at least 10 minutes before applying the other medication. They are both drops (not ointment) so even if you have given them the other way round (tobramycin first), absorption and efficacy is fine.

I'm assuming the vet who prescribed these did a corneal eye stain to make sure the surface of the eyes were not damaged. You can place the drops in the eyes as directed and then wait about 15 minutes and follow with the ointment. Great question.

Hello, sorry to hear about Lily. Exocin is a topical antibiotic. You should aim to apply it at minimum every 6-8 hours until her recheck. If you are able to, you should apply this drops every 2 hours for the first 2 days, then every 4 hours for 5 days as recommended. Superficial ulcers take about 3-5 days to heal and you should see significant improvement in Lily's symptoms within 2-3 days. If you are not seeing improvement by day 5, then you should have a recheck with your veterinarian promptly. Best of luck and hope Lily has a speedy recovery.

If both eyes are affected place it in both eyes. Usually there is instructions on the box of medications. If it is unclear it is best to call the Vet and have them clarify. I hope this helps!

Both are antibiotic ointments, so I would recommend sticking with the Isathal for now and scheduling another appointment if she's not feeling better after 24 hours. You can increase the frequency of the Isathal because extra lubrication can help with comfort. Another thing to ask your veterinarian about it placing a contact on her eye - not all vets have these in their offices, but if they do it can help a lot with comfort. Good luck to you and Jasmine.
