Is daily Simparica safe for my dog? What helps with hereditary mange?

  Hi there. Let me see if I can help you with Poli Love. I would probably not give the Simparica once a day, as it is labeled for once a month usage (see the below answer, as I agree with and second those warnings for overdosage and toxicity). The omega 3 supplements are OK for once a month use again as mentioned below.
  If there are still issues with the mange, you may want to have Poli Love checked and make sure she doesn't have any other health issues going on. A weakened immune system can sometimes encourage overgrowth of certain mange mites, like demodex.
  I would definitely schedule a vet visit. Poli Love can be examined, and the vet can also test her skin to make sure she doesn't have any other skin issues, like ringoworm, or a bacterial infection, or even allergies. Systemic infection, as well as various skin infections, again can cause increased populations of certain mange mites. She may need some other treatments in addition to just the product to rid her of the mites.
  There are also other once a month medications for parasite prevention that can be tried, under the supervision of a veterinarian of course (especially since she's already had the Simparica quite a bit), to see if those rid her of the mange infestation - if that is truly what it is.
