My dog has Coccidia and is on albon. He has no appetite so we have to open his mouth and put soft dog food in him so he can have something in his belly. He's now starting to poop. How long will it take for him to start wanting to eat by himself

Continue with what the vet told you to give. Dogs, especially puppies, always act hungry no matter what food you feed. When he is over the coccidia you can speak to your vet about increasing the food. If he is very skinny you need to help him gain weight slowly so he doesn't get re-feeding syndrome.
