My 11 week old puppy has coccidia parasite. She had no diarrhea and is acting normal. How serious is this parasite? And should I be worried?

Hello, & thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I do not think you have too much to worry about. Coccidia is primarily a problem with the very young, so your older dog should be fine. They can be & play together, but I would, just in case, be as scrupulous as possible picking up all dog waste & disposing of it . Bathing the puppy 1-2 times weekly will also help to prevent any possible spread of the coccidia. Take care.
