My dog ate chocolate pie crust. Is it dangerous for my dog?

Oh boy, Jessie! Well, there is nothing toxic in pie as long as you didn't add any artificial sweeteners. That said, that amount of sugar, fat, etc. may cause stomach upset.. vomiting or diarrhea. I would feed only a small meal for the next meal, and let the stomach rest. Watch for problems and see your vet if you notice any issues.

Rigs should be ok, there isn't a ton of chocolate in a chocolate croissant. At most, you may see some GI upset. The biggest concern I'd have is pancreatitis from the fat in the croissant. If you see abdominal pain, vomiting, lethargy, or anorexia, have her see a vet immediately.

I am sorry that Shelby has eaten your slice of pie, but I would not be overly concerned. I have looked up the ingredients in Costco’s pumpkin pie recipe and there does not seem to be any toxic ingredients. Nutmeg can be toxic for dogs, but it does not appear to be in their recipe. Because it is only one small slice Shelby should be fine, however, pie has a large amount of sugar and fat in it and this may cause some gastrointestinal upset. to help prevent this I would advise the following; Rest her stomach for 6 hours by withholding a meal Then provide a bland diet of boiled chicken breast skinless and steamed white rice. If you notice and vomiting, diarrhoea or discomfort she may have developed pancreatitis which is a common condition when dogs ingest a large amount of fatty food. This is unlikely however, if you suspect it please post a further question here on the forum or take her to see her veterinarian. A single chocolate-covered donut should not contain enough chocolate to cause any problems for a dog this size, so I wouldn't worry - she should be just fine :) She may have some mild stomach upset for the next 24 hours or so if she isn't used to eating human food like this, but she should not have any toxicity problems related to the chocolate.

Pepe will likely be fine unless he is unusually sensitive. White chocolate has the lowest concentration of the chocolates. He may experience some vomiting or diarrhea or he may have no signs at all. To be safe, watch for signs of toxicity such as tremoring, seizures and hyper excitability. If you want to be proactive in regards to possible GI upset, you can feed him a bland diet of 25% boiled white meat chicken and 75% plain boiled white rice tonight and tomorrow morning. Sweet potatoes are not toxic to dogs, so I would not normally expect this to cause any problems apart from some GI upset if she isn't used to eating human food like this. So your pup will probably be just fine :)

Monitor for gastrointestinal upset (vomiting and/or diarrhea). You may want to withhold food for the next 24 hours, allowing small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte. If Louis develops GI upset, the fast followed by a bland diet fed in small, frequent amounts will typically resolve the issue. Transition slowly to his regular diet after symptoms abate. If they don't or if he develops lethargy, loss of appetite or abdominal pain, have him examined by your veterinarian.
