Pet's info: Dog | Wirehaired Pointing Griffon | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 28 days old | 47 lbs
Hello, my dog just ate a small slice of pumpkin pie from Costco while I stepped away from my desk. She is a 12 week old Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. Should I be concerned? Is there anything I should do?

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. Pumpkin pie is generally not considered toxic as long as xylitol is not used in the pie for sweetening. I would expect side effects such as diarrhea and vomiting. I would feed a bland diet of chicken and rice if these signs develop and feed for at least 3 days past the resolution of the vomiting. If signs do not develop then Atlas will be just fine. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
