I HAVE A PIT BULL PUPPY THAT IS ABOUT 13 WEEKS OLD AND HE SOMEHOW GOT A HOLD OF A BOTTLE OF CHILDREN'S MOTRIN. HE CHEWED UP THE BOTTLE BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH HE INGESTED. HE'S ACTING PERFECTLY FINE AND NOT VOMITING. I'M NOT HOME BUT MY HUSBAND FOUND THE BOTTLE. IS THIS SOMETHING I SHOULD BE EXTREMELY WORRIED ABOUT? WHAT DO I WATCH FOR?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Jemma. She should see an emergency veterinarian as ibuprofen can be very toxic in dogs. It tends to cause kidney damage. So even if she is not acting sick, it could be harming her. If the exposure was recent enough, they may recommend inducing vomiting or there may be supportive measures taken to help her. I hope this information helps!
