My dog ate ibuprofen tablets, what can I do if unable to get her to a vet to minimise damage?

Hello. You can start seeing significant gastrointestinal signs with ingestion of 68 mg, kidney damage starting at about 475 mg, & CNS signs starting at 1000 mg. These are all doses for a 6-pound dog. Depending on how much Lia actually ate will determine how sick she might get. I would say that any amount around or over 100 mg is dangerous & she really needs professional care & monitoring. I hope if she did eat a substantial amount you can have her seen soon. Good luck & thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
