My dog ate aluminum foil and acetone. Is it dangerous? What to do?

If he only ate the one wrapper, I wouldn't worry too much. The foil isn't stiff enough or large enough to block or cause damage as it moves through. If it has been less than an hour since your pet ate it, you can induce vomiting by giving an oral dose of hydrogen peroxide, about 1 cc per pound. One tablespoon is about 5 cc. Try to look inside your dog's mouth to see if there are any signs of cuts or pieces of can stuck in the mouth or throat. To help any pieces of aluminum pass through, you can give your dog something to bulk up the stools. Add 1 Tsp canned pumpkin per 10 lbs to its food, giving a bran muffin, or add 1 Tsp of Metamucil (for small dogs) or 2 Tsp of Metamucil (for large dogs) once or twice a day. Monitor your dog closely for the next 24-48 hours. If your dog starts to vomit, has diarrhea or doesn't not defecate, has a tender abdomen, or seems uncomfortable, then you will need to take your dog to your veterinarian.

Yes if it was chewed well then hopefully it will pass out. I recommend feeding more food to help it pass quickly with the food. If he stops eating, becomes painful or is straining to poop without anything being passed then you should take him in for treatment, I expect he will recover without treatment. Oh no, that's not good! Gently rinse her mouth with cool water, and wash around her face with warm water and dawn dish soap. Avoid getting that in her eyes. Acetone can cause mouth irritation, so if you see excessive drooling or mouth pain (one sign of mouth pain is a decrease in appetite), take Daisy into a vet. Acetone can also cause irritation to the lungs if inhaled, and GI upset if any of the solution was swallowed. Monitor her for vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, trouble breathing, or lethargy. Hello. If she is not having any difficulties passing her stool, she should be fine. I might go ahead & feed her 1-2 teaspoons of canned pumpkin ( not pie filling ) with each meal over the next 2-3 days just to be sure all the foil has been pushed through.
