Hi, I recently just got a shorkie. He is about 9 weeks old Last night he peed in my bed and also kept popping everywhere last night. I started him out on dry food and he liked it at first but then refused to eat it after while, so I switched to wet food and he loves it. Im not to sure how often I should feed him but yesterday he ate 3 times and I believe he might have ate to many treats which caused the excessive poop. How many times a day should he eat and what type of food do you suggest?

The quantity of food you are feeding Rooney varies based upon his age and weight. Most good quality puppy foods should provide a chart on the bag of food that you can follow as he gets bigger and older. Divide the quantity of food recommended into two meals per day. Continue feeding puppy food until his is 1 year old, at which time you can gradually transition to an adult dog food over 5-7 days.
