The sac was likely a water bag, there should be a kitten along shortly. Your cat should be able to get on with the labour herself with minimal input. Keep an eye on her but try not to interfere overly. If she is pressing for more than 30mins or there is a long time between kittens call your local vet.

This is likely the amniotic sac or a placenta. If Iris has been having strong contractions without producing a kitten, she needs to be evaluated by a veterinarian immediately. Never pull on anything that is hanging out of her since you don't know exactly what it is. Occasionally they can prolapse part of their uterus and if you pull on it you will make it drastically worse. once you see the sack it should not take more than 2 hours for the first kitten to come out, anything above that and there is probably a problem (not common in cats) and Sasha will need to be taken to the vet.

Since she has been having contractions for a few hours now and has not produced a kitten, it is now time for an intervention by a veterinarian. Please take her to a vet or petER now. The vet will be able to determine whether there is another kitten or more than one, and whether there is a kitten blocking the birth canal. Your cat may need a cesarian section in case the kitten (if there is one) is too big to be born naturally. Please take her to a vet now.

Hello. There may not be any problems. This might be the placenta from one of the first kittens, or the beginning of the 3rd birth. As long as she seems content & is caring for the newborns, I would just give her more time. If the sack has not passed by tomorrow, try to have Diora seen by your vet tomorrow. The tissue may just need to be gently removed, but more importantly, we want to be sure there are no more kittens. A simple x-ray will disclose this. Hope all is well soon. I am sorry we couldn’t get to your question sooner! I hope Blackie is still doing well. I would recommend that she get checked out by a vet. I would be concerned that the fluid coming out is not urine and instead is amniotic fluid. This could indicate that even though you don’t see her pushing, the kittens are ready to come out. The diarrhea can also be a sign of impending or active labor. You can use washcloths to help her stay clean, and a small amount of ointment like Neosporin to help protect her anus. The vet will need to exam this for a rectal prolapse. A prolapse can occur in animals straining, whether to defecate/have diarrhea or during labor. depending on the severity, it may require surgical correction.

Keep watching her, but do not disturb her. If she does not produce another kitten in about an hour and the red bubble is still there and looks thick, like fleshy tissue, you need to take her and her babies to the vet as she may have a uterine prolapse, which can cause her to die, if it is not reduced.
