Why is my 3-week-old kitten meowing, mouth open, and peeing yellow?

This is very concerning. Your kitten sounds very sick. I think she may have a virus (or possibly a large parasite burden). You should take her to the emergency vet as soon as possible to see what can be done. Before you leave, apply a little honey or syrup around her mouth as she may be weak from having a low blood glucose level. I hope she pulls through.

If not, does he pant or breathe with his mouth open? This can be a sign of respiratory distress in a cat. I recommend that he sees his veterinarian for an examination. He could possibly be painful. Based on these results, blood work may be recommended as well. A thyroid disorder can cause a cat to meow more frequently. I hope this information helps!

Since the mother cat is refusing to nurse or care for this kitten Brownie is probably suffering from a failure to thrive. If you are not doing so already, I would recommend supplementing her with a bottle of some kitten milk replacer. She’s probably not getting the nutrition she needs if the mother is not caring for her. She may also have a respiratory infection and/or intestinal parasites that need to be addressed. I would try bottle feeding her every 2 to 3 hours for a 24 hour period. If there is no improvement after this then I would recommend taking the small kitten into the vet to be examined. If he is otherwise doing well, he is likely fine and this is not anything important. Woori sounds very sick. Being cold to the touch is a very serious sign. I hate to hear that your kitten is so sick. There are many things that will cause him to be sick: viral infections, parasites, toxins, damaged organs, intestinal blockage and infections. I am very concerned about the signs you are describing. Pale gums are also very serious. The urine issues may indicate kidney damage or parasites within the kidneys. Woori needs to see the veterinarian today. The doctor will preform a thorough physical exam and hopefully start figuring out what is the underlying cause of his illness and if he can be treated. rapid breathing is not uncommon in kittens but if he is breathing fast with an open mouth it is definitely not normal, at this age it is usually caused by aspiration pneumonia (milk aspiration to the lungs). in such a case you would need to take them to the vet in order to get it checked and treated ASAP.
