Why is my kitten sleeping all day, peeing, and has yellow runny poop?

She is cute! She could have an infection or a parasite. You could take a stool sample to your vet and have it tested for parasites. If she hasn't been dewormed then an intestinal parasite is a definite possibility and your vet can prescribe a dewormer. She might also need some fluids to prevent dehydration. You could also add a probiotic to her food and see if that helps. Hope she gets better soon!

Poor Bee. Since she is so young they are susceptible to infections more easily. I would be concerned about an upper respiratory infection. I would make sure she keeps eating, keeps drinking,and call your veterinarian first thing in the morning. If they aren't open this weekend at all, I would recommend taking Bee to the ER rather than waiting till Monday. In the meantime, a few times a day. I would run your shower really hot, close the door until the room in steamy. Then place Bee in there for 10 minutes. Helps break up secretions. Good luck

This sounds like a severe gastroenteritis, possibly from an infection or parasites. Please ssek urgent veterinary attention for her as young kittens can rapidly become dangerously dehydrated and weak majing treatment very difficult

That is not normal behavior from a young kitten. Yes it sounds like she has a fever and stomach upset. Since she’s so small and sick she should have veterinary treatment soon so she doesn’t get worse. Healthy kittens are very playful and don’t vomit or sleep that much. Please take her in for treatment. They will give medication to resolve the vomiting and reduce her fever if she has one. Pale gums are also very serious. The urine issues may indicate kidney damage or parasites within the kidneys. Woori needs to see the veterinarian today. The doctor will preform a thorough physical exam and hopefully start figuring out what is the underlying cause of his illness and if he can be treated. Hello. I am a little concerned about your kitten because at 4 weeks of age she should be a little fireball & not require stimulation to move her bowels. She should also be eating a canned kitten food with a little replacement milk mixed in. If she has not been dewormed, this would be a priority as intestinal parasites like roundworms can make a kitten pretty weak. She may also be a little dehydrated if you have not seen her urinate.
