The veterinarian will generally examine all the toes to look for any swelling or gapping from the incisions. Marvel cannot play with the other cat and he cannot have any running or jumping or else he may open up the incisions (he has 20 of them!). I do not recommend to let him sleep with you tonight in case he tries to jump off the bed. He needs to be confined to a small bathroom or a large dog kennel to prevent jumping. he should also use a paper or pine pelleted litter to avoid dust. It will take two weeks to heal in general. Increased pain and limping 5days after surgery may indicate infection in the wound, and she needs to be assessed by a vet for pain relief and possibly antibiotics. Given she has had an anesthetic, surgical trauma and pain and post operative medications the risk of any additional treatment to kittens would be minimal
