How kind of you to worry about and care for Blackie! Are you able to get near her? Obviously catching her up and finding her a suitable home would be the best situation. If not, I would see if you can advise the people responsible for demolishing the building about her presence and they can keep a watch for her. If you have created a shelter for her that she is familiar with I would start moving it to a new location. If you have sufficient time before the demolition starts you can move the shelter a little each day towards where you would like her new 'home' to be. Continue offering food and water, but at the new location as well. Cat's often fair pretty well in a feral/wild state, but she is lucky to have you to care for her and feed her.

Thank you for helping her out! Some cats do prefer the outdoors and can be a little depressed when kept indoors. I would recommend getting her some toys and a scratching post. You can get different surfaces for the scratching post and some come with cat nip to attract the cat even more. There are lots of different toys to choose from. Get a variety. Outdoor cats can produce many kittens, they can also act as a source of fleas and intestinal worms, cats who are not fixed can also be more prone to fighting and getting injured. Most cats who lived outdoors can easily adapt to become an indoor cat, They may ask to get out in the beginning, but eventually they will settle to stay inside. Check if Midnight is neutered, and if not, then that would be the first thing you will need to have done or he will stink up your apartment. Also take him to a vet for an exam to make sure he is healthy. There is no need to declaw a cat, You can have the vet techs show you how to clip the toe nails. If you provide him with a scratching tree or scratch boxes he should not scratch up your furniture. There are also plastic nail covers that can be glued onto the nails which prevent the cat doing damage. I have 5 cats and none have ever scratched up my furniture and they are not declawed, Cats can be taught to use a scratch box, Put cat nip on it and your kitty will be in heaven.
