Cats can eat boiled white meat chicken. It should be plain. This is fine to feed for an unspent tummy or as a treat but this not balanced. Cats and kittens need to eat a balanced diet long term. I hope this helps.

Thank you for your question about Leo! There is nothing necessarily harmful or toxic in cooked chicken, so it could be used sparingly as a treat, but I would recommend talking to your vet about ensuring your kitten is on a well balanced diet and not using just chicken as a primary food source.

Yes, cooked chicken is fine but Bella needs to be eating a commercial cat food. Cats have specific nutritional needs and a homemade diet is always LACKING in proper nutrition. I would recommend a completely balanced cat food. I am not sure how old she is, but some recommended brands are: Royal Canin, Hill's Science, Evo (Innova) or Eukanuba. As a general rule, I always recommend the diet be predominantly a commercial dog or cat food to ensure your puppy and kitten are getting all the essential vitamins and minerals they need. If you want to add some plain boiled chicken to their diet as a treat that should be fine. Just keep in mind that only about 10% of their diets should come from treats. The other 90% should come from a complete and balanced diet.

Cats are gourmets....if you feed her boiled chicken and she likes it better than her wet food, then she will shun her wet food and just eat her favourite food. Try offering her tinned kitten food rather than her usual wet food. This would be healthier than chicken only.
