Is it safe to give chicken to a 6 week old kitten ? Chicken seems to be a good source of taurine for cats.

Yes, cooked chicken is fine but Bella needs to be eating a commercial cat food. Cats have specific nutritional needs and a homemade diet is always LACKING in proper nutrition. I recommend to feed Bella Royal Canin Kitten food or Purina ProPlan Kitten food. These are balanced diets that contains all the amino acids, vitamins, minerals, fat, fiber and DHA that she needs to develop normally. I hope this helps.

Oh no! Hopefully you can find an affordable homemade diet with one of these resources. These two offer homemade recipes for both dogs and cats with special conditions and for just daily use. Make sure to look for diets that are suitable for growing kittens. Best of luck!
