As a general rule, I always recommend the diet be predominantly a commercial dog or cat food to ensure your puppy and kitten are getting all the essential vitamins and minerals they need. If you want to add some plain boiled chicken to their diet as a treat that should be fine. Just keep in mind that only about 10% of their diets should come from treats. The other 90% should come from a complete and balanced diet.

Mac can have a handful of boiled chicken a couple of times a week as a treat. Boiled chicken on it's own is not a healthy or balanced diet for a puppy, and he needs a puppy formulated food to meet his nutritional requirements for growth. I recommend feeding him Royal Canin. Too much human food adds extra calories a cat doesn't need. In addition, it can make them picky, as they tend to like human food better and then won't eat their cat food.
