When is my female kitten old enough to get pregnant and breed?

Cat should not be bred until they've reached full maturity - sometime between 18 months and 2 years of age. I would recommend that the two cats are of similar sizes as using a much larger male can result in kittens that are too large causing problems at birth. You should also have both cats examined by a veterinarian prior to breeding to ensure that they are both healthy and have a no apparent hereditary conditions that could be passed on to the kittens. Please also keep in mind that pregnancy and delivery can result in some complications sometimes even needing surgery and you should be prepared for these expenses.

Beautiful cat! Unfortunately there is no way for me to give you any sort of idea on age or health just by looking at the photos. You would need a vet to do an exam in person. All I can say is that she definitely appears to be an adult (over 1 year of age). As for breeding, it is recommended that females not have a litter until at least 18 months of age although they technically can become pregnant and have a litter as young as 7-8 months old. They can continue to be become pregnant and have litters well into their early teens. Not recommended to do so but it is possible. Whether or not you should 'go for it" is entirely up to you. At this age, they will be physically and emotionally mature, and thus better able to properly take care of kittens. Cats have a very distinct behavior when they are ready to be bred. You will see Gg roll around on the ground and act more playful than usual. She will be more vocal, and will try to get outside more often to find males with which to mate. She will also stand arched with her tail straight up, and her back and rear legs stiffen when touched. When you see this behavior, she will be receptive to mating with a male. Heat periods in cats typically last 4-7 days, and will become longer and more frequent if she isn't bred. Cats become more sexually active during certain seasons, early spring and late autumn in the US. When Gg goes into heat, you can introduce her to a male cat.

If everything comes back fine then you can try. I wouldn’t breed her 10 or older and would spay her as soon as you are done. I hope this helps!

Yes, Pixie can get pregnant as soon as she starts cycling. Yes, it will stunt her growth a little as she is not fully mature yet. She will not mate once she is pregnant but may come back into heat once the litter starts weaning. Cats can be prolific breeders so I would highly recommend to have her spayed ASAP! She can produce up to 27 kittens a year! Lastly, no, you may not be able to tell she has had kittens once she is spayed. I hope this helps!
