What's the ideal age and size for my female cat to breed safely?

Beautiful cat! Unfortunately there is no way for me to give you any sort of idea on age or health just by looking at the photos. You would need a vet to do an exam in person. All I can say is that she definitely appears to be an adult (over 1 year of age). As for breeding, it is recommended that females not have a litter until at least 18 months of age although they technically can become pregnant and have a litter as young as 7-8 months old. They can continue to be become pregnant and have litters well into their early teens. Not recommended to do so but it is possible. Whether or not you should 'go for it" is entirely up to you. Although cats can get pregnant at seven months old or so I prefer to wait to breed them until they are mature at one year old. That way they are bigger and usually better mothers than if they give birth when they are still kittens themselves. If you want to have a certain breed of kittens then you can find purebred breeders who have male breeding cats. Unfortunately there are already too many kittens that don't find homes so if you want to raise kittens check with your local shelter or rescue group as they often have pregnant cats that need fostering. It is recommended to wait until they are a little older before having their first litter. In my experience, young cats are not good mothers to their litter. I would wait until she is 18 months-2 years.

If everything comes back fine then you can try. I wouldn’t breed her 10 or older and would spay her as soon as you are done. I hope this helps!

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Peynir. While she is physically able to become pregnant at such a young age, it is not advisable. As a kitten, she herself is still growing. Pregnancy would put a huge demand at her body now. I recommend waiting until she is well over a year of age, if not two years old, to breed her. I hope this information helps!

Cats are polyestrus, meaning they go into heat multiple times a year. It's best to breed cats when they are at least one year of age. At this age, they will be physically and emotionally mature, and thus better able to properly take care of kittens. Cats have a very distinct behavior when they are ready to be bred. You will see Gg roll around on the ground and act more playful than usual. She will be more vocal, and will try to get outside more often to find males with which to mate. She will also stand arched with her tail straight up, and her back and rear legs stiffen when touched. When you see this behavior, she will be receptive to mating with a male. Heat periods in cats typically last 4-7 days, and will become longer and more frequent if she isn't bred. Cats become more sexually active during certain seasons, early spring and late autumn in the US. When Gg goes into heat, you can introduce her to a male cat.

Most cats would have gone into heat by this age but sometimes young females do not get pregnant until the age of 18 months. there could be various reasons for that but the most common reason is that many young female just won't cooperate with the males.
