Mac can have a handful of boiled chicken a couple of times a week as a treat. Boiled chicken on it's own is not a healthy or balanced diet for a puppy, and he needs a puppy formulated food to meet his nutritional requirements for growth. I recommend feeding him Royal Canin. When you do give him the boiled chicken as a treat, make sure it's white meat and there are no bones in it. I hope this helps :-)

It is fine to use some of the chicken broth for flavoring on dog food. Just make sure there was no aggressive seasoning or excessive salt used. The best broth for dogs would be non seasoned or low salt broth. Also you would want to skim out the fat if there is a lot of it or let it set up in the fridge first so you can remove the larger fat layer. Giving cooked chicken is also no problem as a treat. I highly recommend a balanced puppy food (Purina puppy chow for example) as her main source of nutrition while she transitions from nursing and onwards. She can have small pieces of chicken as treats or for training.
