Is feeding my cat chicken and eggs every day a good idea for them?

It is okay to give your cat egg every once in a while as a treat, but should not be an every day event as eggs do have quite a bit of fat in them that could cause an upset stomach for a small 6 lb cat. Hello! Boiled chicken typically is fine to give to cats, but in small amounts, and without any seasonings or added ingredients. You should consider any "human food" to be a treat for your pet, and give small amounts every once in a while. Treats should only make up 10% or less of your pet's overall diet. A small amount is fine. As long as they are thoroughly cooked it should be OK for your cat to have some of an egg yolk. It is best that their main source of food is a balanced cat food. That ensures they are getting plenty of minerals and vitamins that are necessary in the right ratio's.

The ideal diet for an adult cat is a balanced commercial cat food. I would purchase one and start offering it as feeding four eggs a day is not a balanced diet and likely not enough nutrition or calories for a cat to sustain itself. Cats can eat boiled white meat chicken. It should be plain. This is fine to feed for an unspent tummy or as a treat but this not balanced. Cats and kittens need to eat a balanced diet long term. I hope this helps.

If you want to add some plain boiled chicken to their diet as a treat that should be fine. Just keep in mind that only about 10% of their diets should come from treats. First off, you are doing the right thing by feeding these kittens three times a day. When they turn six months old, you can feed them twice a day. Unfortunately a boiled chicken wing isn't a healthy and balanced part of a diet for a kitten, and I don't recommend giving them one at each meal. It would be better for their diets for them to have their daily intake of dry food divided into three portions for three meals a day, and once a week they can split a chicken wing as a treat. Chicken is something better given as a treat rather than a regular part of their diet because kittens also need calcium and other nutrients to grow properly. In addition, chicken wings themselves are higher in fat than other parts of the chicken such as the breast, and isn't the healthiest meat they could get as a treat. This could contribute to weight gain and obesity. The weights you have provided for them are fine, it sounds like they are going to be big kitties! I hope this helps!
