Accidentally gave my cat too many valerian calming treats. Is he okay?

L-tryptophan is just an amino acid, a constituent of proteins. Excessive treats like these ones could cause vomiting and diarrhoea. If that is the case, as a first approach, I would suggest to withhold food for the next 8-12 hours and then start feeding with a bland diet based on boiled chicken and rice in small portion every 6 hours for the following 48hours. Then gradually reintroduce the normal diet over 5 days. I would definitely recommend a veterinary check up if the signs persist more than 48hours or you notice lethargy or inappetence. While Rescue Remedy has not been tested properly for safety, it has been used for a while, and there haven't been any adverse side effects reported. Based on this, Milenko should be ok, but I would monitor him, and if he's still sleeping quite soundly by morning, I would take him into the vet. In the future, given that he seems to have a strong reaction to it, I would refrain from using it with Milenko.

Hello. You do not have anything to worry about after giving Gizmo 3 drops. This is a very small amount. But I would not give him anymore since we also do not know truly how cats respond to CBD oil. For anxiety, I would first invest in a couple of Feliway room diffusers that emit a compound called a pheromone. This has shown to calm kitties & help them adjust to new situations. Nikolai should be okay as far as toxicity goes. 300mg is a lot but not at the point at which you would see liver toxicity or other adverse health problems. However, that being said, if he is still lethargic and acting abnormal, I would recommend taking him in to be seen by a veterinarian and have his blood tested to establish a baseline as well.
