My 11-month-old cat missed shots. Can she get vaccinated now?

Hi, Vaccination as an adult cat who is not strictly indoors is annually so if she had her shots in Sep she is covered till Sep 2019 . Deworming is recommended every 3 months so she may be due that by now from her vet. And anti flea treatment is also recommended routinely, the frequency of application depends on the product used. No, there isn't an age where vets won't give cats vaccines. You can make an appointment at any time to get Midnight vaccinated. The vet can go over the vaccine schedule to get him fully immunized, and I would not let him outside until the vet says he is completely protected. I hope this helps!

I can understand your concern. Vaccine reactions in pets can’t be predicted and is pretty uncommon, with less than 5% of pets having them and even less so in cats. It is necessary in this situation to get Kiski vaccinated so it is best to start the process with your vet. You could also request that he get a pre-vaccination shot to help reduce his chances of a reaction even further. Ask your vet about this when you schedule your appointment or get his immunizations started. And lastly the latest studies suggest that getting all the vaccine done at once instead of spreading them out, reduces the chances of a reaction occurring because you are not challenging the body’s immune system multiple times versus once or twice, if boosters are needed.
